Uncovered from a treasure trove of secret recipes, Palāsā is a luxurious cream liqueur woven from 100% natural extracts of Indian spices, fruits and nuts. Rose petals and saffron bring fragrance and warmth. Cardamom, fennel, mace and black pepper add gentle spice. Apricots, dates, almonds and pistachios lend richness and depth. Palāsā takes its name from the Palash—the legendary Flame of the Forest.
When summer approaches, its flowers set the Indian landscape ablaze: vivid, untamed and impossible to ignore.
In mythology, the Palash tree is said to have sprung from the feather of a celestial falcon, still infused with Soma—the elixir of the gods. Ancient traditions surrounded it with the promise of vitality, fulfilment and enduring life.
But the Palash is also a flower of passion.
Its curved, parrot-beaked blossoms appear throughout Indian poetry as symbols of beauty, longing and desire. Sanskrit poets likened their flaming petals to the crimson nails and flower-tipped arrows of Kāma, the god of love, wounding the hearts of lovers and awakening the senses.
